NORMA VILA
Born in Bilbao in 1983, she studied graphic design, artistic photography and cinematography. She began her career in film working on documentaries, short films and advertising as part of camera crews. In 2016, she directed, produced and co-wrote her debut short film, the fantasy genre piece ‘Jules D.’, which went on to receive more than eighty international selections and over twenty awards. ‘Carapace’ (Salitre) is her first feature film.
